The GYT Yachtmaster Traineeship is our new flagship YM trainee course.

Run over 25 weeks, visiting a number of different countries and working alongside some of the yacht charter industries leading professionals this course truly is an amazing doorway into the marine industry.

During the course you will gain RYA training and certification from Day Skipper to Yachtmaster, in addition you will sail across the Atlantic offering the chance to gain an ocean passage.

Take part in the Royal Ocean Racing Club's transatlantic race and become a key crew member in international regattas in the Med. & Caribbean. Industry experience, yacht maintenance and dealing with charter guest and race clients make this course unparalleled in the industry.

Week 1 & 2	Milebuilder Passage UK to Gibraltar. RYA Day Skipper Practical Training
Week 3 & 4	Milebuilder Passage Gibraltar to St Tropez. Further RYA Day Skipper & Coastal Skipper Practical Training
Week 5	Regatta preparation and yacht maintenance
Week 6	Les Voiles de St Tropez Regatta
Week 7	Milebuilder Passage St Tropez to Malta. Further RYA Day Skipper & Coastal Skipper Practical Training
Week 8	Practical Skills Training & Yacht Maintenance
Weeks 9 & 10	RYA Coastal Theory & Practical Course. VHF Radio & First Aid Tickets
Weeks 11, 12 & 13	Milebuilder Passage Malta to Gibraltar. Includes skippered passages, skills training & navigation
Week 14	Milebuilder Passage Gibraltar to Canary Islands.
Week 15	Yachtmaster Skills Training - Las Palmas
Week 16	Yachtmaster Skills Training - Las Palmas
